The New All-Electric

Ford Capri

Cool

The sports coupe for the family that will inject some soul into the world of EVs. The legend is back.

Athletic

Athletic all-electric performance rewires Capri for the EV generation. Sports car acceleration, up to 627 km driving range, 1 fast charging … and up to 572 litres of boot space. 2 Is this the ultimate car for a getaway?

Past meets future

The original Capri is a cult classic. The new all-electric Capri is the car the iconic sports coupe was destined to become. No other family EV has heritage like this.

Rebelious to its core

You need swagger to pull off Vivid Yellow. And who said a massaging driver’s seat couldn’t be standard? Or that your touchscreen couldn’t slide to reveal secret storage? The new Capri tears up the rulebook.

Intelligent

Intelligent technologies can help keep Capri on best behaviour on the open road and in the city, from automated lane changes at the flick of a switch to watching out for cyclists as you open your doors.3

A Cult Classic

“Celebrating our past while reinventing our future. A car that only Ford could build. The legend is back.”

AMKO LEENARTS – DIRECTOR, DESIGN

In 1964, the Ford Mustang took America by storm.

In 1969, it was the turn of an all-new sports coupe to deliver the same sense of freedom, performance and a touch of rebellion for drivers in Europe; the Ford Capri…

an instant hit with 400,000 examples sold in its first two years…

larger than life special editions…

and more than 1.8 million produced across three generations between 1969 and 1986.

Capri Re-wired

“It’s not every day that you have the chance to redesign an icon.”

THOMAS MOREL – EXTERIOR DESIGN MANAGER

Item 1 of 4

The new all-electric Capri is exactly how the iconic sports coupe would have evolved had it stayed in continuous production.

Classic Capri design cues are reimagined for the electric age.

Four headlamps connected by black horizontal grille slats became an iconic 1980s design feature.

Now, four signature LED headlamps are connected by a black graphic, bringing them into the 21st century.

The swooping coupe roofline and black window pillars capture the essence of a sports car.

The character and heritage in the four-piece taillamps and full-width rear graphic are clear to see.

19-, 20- and 21-inch alloy wheel options underline the confident and assertive personality, featuring head-turning machined metal designs.

Capri’s rebellious character is amplified in bold colours including striking Vivid Yellow.

Connected Comfort

“I think this is exactly how a classic Capri driver would have expected the future to feel.”

AMKO LEENARTS – DIRECTOR, DESIGN

With seats for five, the new all-electric Capri’s interior is designed to feel digital, minimalist and seamlessly integrated.

A wrap-around cockpit merges the instrument panel and doors as a single design element...

and sculptured, tailored sports seats feature integrated headrests for an ultra-modern feel.

High specification is standard.

Both front seats and steering wheel are heated for comfortable getaways on cold winter mornings.

A driver’s seat massage function is also standard, as well as keyless entry and start, dual-zone climate control and a stylish soundbar on top of the dashboard.

Capri Premium models add ambient interior lighting in 10 colours, a 10-speaker B&O Sound System and hands-free tailgate for easy access to the bootspace.

True to form, the new Capri doesn’t follow the rulebook when it comes to infotainment systems.

Innovative SYNC Move4 lets the driver slide the screen smoothly up and down to find the most comfortable angle to view and interact with the 14.6-inch touchscreen.

The home screen is fully configurable with light and dark modes for daytime or nighttime driving, and large touchscreen sliders that make it quick and easy to access features, from adjusting climate settings to choosing music.

Voice activation, connected navigation and wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also standard.5 So is a dedicated compartment able to hold two large smartphones – with a wireless charger integrated.6

My Private Locker provides a secure place to hide those devices while spending some screen-free quality time with family. With the screen in its lowest position and the vehicle locked, contents are securely hidden away for peace of mind.

New Capri has up to more than 590 litres2 of storage space for a family getaway including a 17-litre MegaConsole between the front seats that’s large enough for a 15-inch laptop or multiple 1.5-litre drinks bottles...

and up to 572 litres2 of bootspace in five-seat mode.
