2024 Impact Report

Building community. Forging partnerships. Working together to move people forward and upward.

This is Ford Philanthropy—what we do, and who we are.

With the release of our 2024 Impact Report, we’re proud to share stories of how we worked with our partners and volunteers to connect people with fresh food, help communities rebuild after disasters, train students for jobs in auto tech and so much more. The last year also gave us new opportunities to collaborate more closely with Ford, leveraging the company’s scale, resources and unique strengths, such as mobility, to expand the reach of our efforts.

Ford Philanthropy has remained steadfast in its commitment to communities for over 75 years.

Helping Communities Prepare and Rebuild Following Disasters

As hurricanes, floods, wildfires and other types of disasters become more frequent and severe, preparedness and recovery has never been more important. In 2024, we worked with Team Rubicon, Feeding America, the American Red Cross and others to help communities prepare for and recover from several major disasters in the U.S. We also swung into action to help communities in Spain, Thailand, China and other locations affected by worldwide disasters.

Connecting People and Resources in Local Communities

Ford Community Centers bring nonprofits, residents and local leaders together to expand access to essential services, education and economic opportunities in the regions surrounding Ford’s plant communities. From our hometown of Detroit to locations across the U.S. and around the globe, each Center in our network is designed to meet the unique needs of the people it serves. In 2024, we broke ground on our newest Ford Community Center in Stanton, Tennessee. While our future home is being renovated, our temporary on-site facility is already serving as a hub for local services and community connection.

Mobilizing Employees to Help Build a Better World

Through the Ford Volunteer Corps, Ford Philanthropy is committed to empowering Ford employees to give back to the communities where they live and work. Volunteers help fuel our mission by bringing their unique skills, connections, and heart for service to support our community partners. In 2024, Ford employees dedicated over 80,000 hours to volunteering in their communities, an increase of 40%, and we plan to increase that number again in 2025.

Thank you

to our partners, employee volunteers, Ford’s network of dealers, and all who have contributed to our mission—
we couldn’t do what we do without you.
