These early sketches captured Tourneo Courier's character. The desirable Active series' unique two-tone paint, machined alloy wheel faces and body cladding were already part of the vision.

Ford design teams refined the details from sketches to sheet metal. A bold, upright grille with integrated headlamps emphasises the bold design's visual width and toughness.

Bursting Green paintwork with the contrasting white roofline gives Tourneo Courier Active a unique character. The strong lines with SUV influences wrap a roomy cabin with large windows and more space than ever before. 3

We designed Tourneo Courier to help customers get the most out of life – whether out with family and friends or coming home with the rear seats flipped and bikes in the back – and the exterior design expresses that ‘no-nonsense’ character. The SUV‑inspired design is rugged outside and roomy inside, providing a tough, eager partner for our customers’ busy lifestyles.

to make life easier

The interior's digital experiences are powered by a built-in modem as standard 4 which enables wireless software updates for multiple modules. Discover the new cockpit features here.

SYNC 4 infotainment places music, podcasts, navigation and many vehicle settings within easy reach. 5 In the Tourneo Courier, these features can all be controlled by the central eight-inch touchscreen.

A digital cluster display replaces traditional analogue dials. Drivers can view their speed, traffic signs, navigation alerts and other vehicle information simultaneously, and configure the side displays to suit their preference.

A wireless charging pad, 6 USB ports and standard wireless phone mirroring through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can help occupants stay connected. 7

No more windscreen suckers or air vent mounts. Drivers who use a phone for navigation, music or hands-free calls can clip it to the built-in phone mounting fin to keep it in a safe but visible place.

More handy storage across the dashboard and doors can store snacks, water bottles, wet wipes, USB cables and receipts to help keep the interior tidy and secure.

An optimised body design means Tourneo Courier’s interior is significantly more spacious and practical than the outgoing model’s, with increased room for both passengers and luggage.3

With over 44 per cent more boot space, there's no need to pack light. 3 A large tailgate can keep the rain off as families fill the boot or put on their wellies, and an optional volumetric alarm helps to keep Tourneo Courier and its contents secure.

Muddy boots? In the boot

To keep the boot clean - or leave space for the dogs - owners can use new cubbyholes built into the side panels for muddy kit or loose items. With the rear seats flipped, Tourneo Courier offers generous space for larger items with up to 2,162 litres of boot space. 3

Spacious seating for five

Every Tourneo Courier comes with a three-seat rear bench offering more headroom and shoulder room than the old model. The seats are split 60/40, and fold and flip to help carry items up to 1.4 metres long. 3

A smart interior touch

Tourneo Courier Active is designed to suit outdoors adventures right down to the seats. They're part-trimmed in soft technical fabric that's easy to clean, isn't affected by wet clothes, and doesn't feel cold to touch in winter.

Child-proof rear access

Wide-opening sliding side doors make it easy to jump aboard or strap young children into their seats. They also help to prevent damage or accidentally denting other cars when opening the rear door in tight parking spaces.
